Servings: 2 toast pieces

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 slices ezekiel bread (amazing natural bread full of nutrients)
  • 2 eggs (I love pasture-raised)
  • 1 tsp sugar-free brown sugar
  • dash of sea salt (I love Redmond's)
  • dash of vanilla extract
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter (I love using grass-fed)

Optional Toppings

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk until fluffy: 2 eggs, 1 tsp sugar-free brown sugar, dash of vanilla extract, dash of sea salt.
  • Place one slice of toast into the mixture and let soak for 1-2 minutes. Flip and let the mixture soak for the other side.
  • Heat the pan to medium-low heat and add 1 tbsp butter.
  • Place one slice of coated toast in the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes per slide and flip.
  • Repeat coat and cooking process in steps above, for the other slice.

Notes

You can also substitute the grass-fed butter, for coconut oil or spray avocado oil to heat the pan.

carpe diem,
