Peanut Butter Oat Pumpkin Dog Treats
These dog treats are simple, made with clean ingredients, and are naturally gluten-free for your dog's tummy. These treats were a hit!
Servings: 30 dog treats
Equipment
- 1 blender
- 1 large glass bowl
- 1 baking pan
- bone-shaped cookie cutters
Ingredients
Treat Dough
- 1 cup roasted pumpkin
- 3 cups gluten-free oats
- 6 tbsp peanut butter powder
- 1/4 cup gluten-free oats (used with rolling out the dough)
Instructions
- Blend 1 cup roasted pumpkin to make it into a puree.
- Add 3 cups gluten-free oats to the blender. Blend until the mixture is a smooth batter.
- Add 6 tbsp peanut butter powder to the blender and blend until a dough forms.
- Place dough in a glass bowl to the side.
- Blend 1/4 cup gluten-free oats to make a small amount of oat flour to help with rolling the dough out.
- Use a rolling pan to roll dough into a rectangle, with about .25” thickness top-down.
- Use the bone-shaped cookie cutters with the dough. This should yield around 30 mini bone dog treats.
- Preheat the oven to 350℉.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Allow the treats to cool on the wire rack for 20 minutes.
Notes
These treats will yield more by using a mini treat cookie cutter. You will want to give these to your dog to consume within 5-7 days. These treats can also be frozen to store for longer.
