4-Day Trip to Boston + New Hampshire

Let’s have a taste of rural, urban, and coastal parts up North for a few days. I had a divine Lobster in Boston and admired the fall foliage driving around New Hampshire.

📅 Trip Dates: October 16-19, 2023

Travel Day

Day 1: Monday, October 16th

✈️ RDU 📍 BOS

Yes, I totally overpacked for 3 days of travel. But, I am definitely overprepared, rather than an underprepared person. I got Starbae for lunch in RDU airport! I also grabbed a fairlife protein shake and some cookies for flight snacks haha.

My go-to high protein lunch airport order: Starbucks- spinach feta wrap, tall nitro cold brew, and a blueberry greek yogurt.

Landed at BOS and picked up my Rental Car

📍 BOS ✘ Nashua, NH

Landed at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and picked up my rental car!! En route to my hotel in New Hampshire.

Drove 1.5hrs: Boston, MA -> Nashua, NH

📍 BOS ✘ Nashua, NH

Oh, I LOVED the drive! The 1.5hrs went by fast while listening to music, and I had my fairlife protein shake to hold me over until I could grab some dinner. Hello, New Hampshire! My first time in this state!!

NH Hotel Check-In

✘ Nashua, NH

I was very excited to check-in to my hotel room and go grab dinner! I was soooo hungry after the flight and driving.

Immaculate 3-Course Dinner @ Bistro603

📍 Bisto603 ✘ Nashua, NH

I am literally drooling as I am recalling this memory while writing this blog. Literally oh my gosh. ALL 3 OF THESE DISHES WERE INSANELY GOOD. For real, I cleaned my plates lol!!

My order: Warm Panzanella Bowl with Duck (my first time having duck and it was SO GOOOOOOD), Steak Bomb Spring Rolls (omg drool worthy), Turtle Cheesecake (I think the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!).

These meals were phenomenal. As I wrote in my travels notes in October 2023 during my Boston + Nashua travels, this meal left me “literal food coma but was so good.”

Bistro603 Nashua is a 10/10 in my book for ambience, hospitality, and cuisine!!

Day 2: Tuesday, October 17th

DIY High-Protein Hotel Brekkie

📍 My Hotel in Nashua

Woke up ready to RISE AND GRIND. I love practicing my wellness hacks and lifestyle whilst traveling. A lot of hotel breakfast options are highly processed foods, which makes me feel really sick. I like to fuel my body for performance! So, I made my own yogurt parfait to eat while I did my morning quiet time.

My go-to high protein hotel breakfast option: Make your own greek yogurt parfait- banana (complex carb), sunflower seeds and sliced almonds (healthy fats to keep you full), cinnamon (maintain blood sugar balance), and greek yogurt (high in protein, preferably one that has no added sugar or minimal added sugar).

Fall Foliage in New Hampshire

📍 Merrimack, NH

The foliage in New Hampshire was stunning! I have never been up north during the fall, so this was awesome! I drove from Nashua to Merrimack.

Dinner @ The Homestead

📍 The Homestead Restaurant & Tavern ✘ Merrimack, NH

Grabbed dinner at The Homestead. The rustic style of this restaurant was very New Hampshire esque. The haddock was good!

Order: Fresh baked stuffed haddock with a side of mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. And, chocolate bombshell for dessert.

Day 3: Wednesday, October 18th

Got Starbucks + Drove to Boston

🚗 Nashua, NH 📍 Cambridge, MA

Morning Starbucks slay! The drive was so pretty! Once I got to Massachusetts, I drove into Cambridge and saw some of Harvard’s campus!

Order: Grande Nitro Cold Brew.

Boston Hotel Check-In

📍 Seaport Boston Hotel ✘ South Boston Waterfront

Oh my gosh. THIS was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The VIEW was unreal. The view of the Boston Harbor was gorgeous.

Walked around Seaport District

📍 Northern Ave ✘ South Boston Waterfront

The Seaport District was so beautiful to walk around and see the Boston Harbor!

Cleaned up a whole 1.25lbs Lobster :p

📍 Legal Sea Foods – Harborside ✘ South Boston Waterfront

Oh my gosh. This lobster was insanely divine. I always love a good challenge…so this was fun!!!! YUM! Drool worthy looking back at these pictures!!

Night Skyline of Boston

📍 Seaport Boston Hotel ✘ South Boston Waterfront

Wow! What a view. It remined me of my skyline back home in my Downtown Raleigh apartment!
